The First Sleepover

I'm sharing a funny story about my kids' first sleepover. My daughter wanted to have a friend over for a sleepover, and my wife (mostly) and I (a little) were helicopter parents, keeping a close eye on them.

They had big plans, like staying up all night, doing crafts, and watching a movie. But things got a little out of hand when my wife went overboard with the snacks - we're talking a sugar overload! I'm talking Neapolitan ice cream with all the toppings, and cookies made with sour patch kids, sugar daddies, skittles, M&Ms, and pop rocks! I may have indulged in a few (okay, many) of those cookies when no one was looking...

The sleepover movie was Annie, which was a bit of a marathon at three hours long. Meanwhile, my younger son (1.5 years younger than my daughter) saw this as an opportunity to terrorize his sister and her friend - classic little brother move! We had to keep him occupied with video games and some quality bonding time, making stop-motion Lego movies and playing old-school Tony Hawk skateboard games (the only one I know how to play!).

What do a microwave and a wart have in common?

If you haven’t heard, an interesting new treatment has started in our Worcester office. This treatment treats warts by stimulating the body’s immune response with microwave therapy.

This treatment is called Swift Therapy and is quite a bit quicker than other transitional treatments such as acid cream, Beetlejuice (cantharidin), or laser treatment. If you are struggling to get rid of your warts, this might be something you want to consider.
