Turf Toe Treatment Process

TREATMENT PROCESS

This is my current treatment process for patients with turf toe.

  • 1st Visit - Evaluate your condition, review x-rays, and perform a walking evaluation to determine the cause of your great toe pain.
  • Orthotics - Orthotics are useful to stabilize the heel position, help with posture and reduce excess movement of the great toe joint.
  • Physical Therapy - Can be used to strengthen the foot and help with balance
  • Cortisone Injection - If there is an injury sometimes cortisone can be used to reduce the pain during the recovery period.
  • Shockwave Therapy - This treatment can be used to stimulate your own body to get better faster.

RESOURCES

  • Shoe Recommendations - Here are my shoe recommendations and shoe-related resources.

  • Treatment Sheet - Here is my treatment sheet for this condition that I give to patients.

AMAZON RESOURCES
